Favorite Food Friday: Food and Wine South Korea

Welcome back to another Favorite Food Friday hosted by the dapper Disney Day By Day

I was very excited to try out South Korea on my very first Food and Wine tour back in 2012!


The lettuce wrap with roast pork and kimchi slaw was refreshing!

The mungbean pancake with shrimp and kimchi sauce did not go over well with my companions - but I liked it!

  1. Interesting. My brothers are Korean and LOVE Kimchi. Was it really hot and spicy? The lettuce wrap looks pretty good. I think I would be brave enough to try that!

  3. The kimchi was pretty balanced between sour and spicy - I would say the sour was the first note you got and then the spice came through. I LOOOOVEEEE kimchi and LOVE spicy so I was very happy. :)
