Favorite Food Friday! Food and Wine Mexico

Welcome back to another Favorite Food Friday hosted by the delectable Disney Day by Day!

Continuing on in my recap of Food and Wine 2012 (my first!), we have the Mexico stand:

Here we have the Taco de Filete with Cascabel Pepper Sauce and Scallions Served on a Flour Tortilla 

the Crispy Shrimp Taco with Chipotle Lime Mayo and Cabbage Served on a Flour Tortilla 



and the Natilla de Cajeta (Caramel Custard Served with Sauce), which I was actually not looking forward to because I thought it would be gelantinous like flan.

But no, it was spoon-standing-up-in-it thick and creamy.  Sooooooo yum!  My favorite offering at this booth for SURE!

  1. The custard looks good but the tacos . . . well, I don't do seafood, so they don't appeal to me. :)
