Nearly Wordless Wednesday

Not Disney today - sorry.  My family's house had a terrible terrible fire and we lost three of our four beautiful dogs.  I am so so so sad.  I am dedicating this post to them.  It is not enough, but it is all I can do right now.

PS all humans are physically fine.  house is totaled.  I guess this is D for dogs.

    That's so unfair. Even going through the loss of one dog is horrible enough, I truly can't imagine your pain. I'm glad your family is safe. Sending heartfelt sympathy your way!

    I'm so incredibly sorry. There are no words.

    Last December I also had a horrible fire and lost my bird that mentthe world to me. She was my best friend of 10 years and in half hour she was gone. The FD got our sugar glider baby out anf she is doing well now...with a lot of tlc and a new friend.

    It's still not easy ...we lost almost everything (my pictures were saved and some clothes). The first 2 months i was numb. The only thing that I can offer for some comfort is knowing that you will eventually get better. My outlook on life is different and its hard to talk about it with family/friends....so the internet is your friend to help get it out. And I met with a pet loss group in Bergen County....it helped when I was ready to talk about it.

    If there is anythjng you need....an anonymous person to talk to...or clothes....whatever....please email me. Roperrock@gmail.com. I live in Northern NJ....so i don't think I'm too far (I'm a fan of your blog, obviously).

    My heart is broken for you, a fire is tragic enough without al the other feelings from loosing your fur babies. It is so shitty and unfair.
