Walking through Tower of Terror (kind of)

Guys,

I went to Sleep No More this weekend and it was SO AWESOME.  Basically, the show is based on Macbeth but it's not a traditional theater where you sit down and watch actors on a stage; instead you enter this creepy old hotel, don Venetian-style masks, and get to wander around all the sets - I mean rooms - and watch actors have various scenes at different times.

You can follow around the actors if you want or you can just wander the 5-floor hotel and even mess with all the scenes!  I turned dusty tea cups upside down, unhooked an old telephone, and even read love letters that were left on a bedside table - and it's all okay to do this!  It's just the neatest thing.  Plus the sets are insanely detailed and ridiculously awesome.

The reason I'm writing about this on my Disney blog is that the best way I can describe the show is that it's like being able to stroll through Tower of Terror (and not in the queue), sit in the chairs, play the chess game, read the notes left in the mailboxes and books in the library, etc. while actors pass through interacting with each other.  How cool is that?  Am I right?

Anyway, it was a superfun night and if you're in the NYC area I highly recommend trying to score a highly-sought-after ticket.  Hope you all had a good weekend!
