Ahhhh, the Cheese booth. This was one of the last ones we hit. When we got there, the fondue wasn't ready. It was our last time at the festival and I HAD to try everything! One of the cast members told me that she'd come find me when it was there. We hung around and enjoyed the rest of the offerings. I checked back in twice and finally the fondue was ready! Check back in next week to find out whether it was worth the wait
This is the other offering we had first: the Trio of Artisan Cheese
This one was my FAVORITE. Beecher's Flagship Reserve cheddar with a drizzle of honey. Salty and sweet. YUM.
The La Bonne Vie Goat Brie with (cherry?) chutney was okay.
The Rogue River Creamery Echo Mountain Blue Cheese with a toasted cracker was also pretty good.

Hmm not a huge cheese fan, but I'm always intrigued by the mix of the cheese and the accompaniment. Will have to give these a try sometime. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI love cheese, but I'm not a fan of "weird" or "fancy" cheeses. I'd definitely be willing to try them though. :)
