It's been a while since I blogged about the Weekend NYC cruise on the Disney Magic last June. Here are some pics from our 1st dinner at Parrot Cay.
This was my appetizer - curry chicken wrapped in phyllo dough with a cinnamon dusting. It was dry. And unremarkable. I was disappointed.
My entree was forgettable - literally. I forgot what I had. The food at DCL's main restaurants are below par (Palo being an exception - check out an upcoming post on that).
Then the CM brought me the wrong dessert. I didn't say anything though because truly I was torn between whatever I really ordered and the sugar-free chocolate torte with pistachio gel below. It was fine. Unimpressive.
I'm sorry the food was disappointing. I'm glad that Palo was at least a bit better. :) I dream of going on a Disney cruise one day!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that the food was disappointing. The last time we ate at Parrot Cay was 8 years ago (aboard the Magic) and the food was good then. Next month we will be cruising on The Wonder ... will let you know how things go.

DeleteOh no! So sorry your Disney dining on the cruise was not as expected. I hope everything else was magical about the experience. Being close to NYC we were curious about this option.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your disappoint in the food. I have to agree, Parrot Cay aboard the Magic and Wonder was forgettable. I didn't even take pictures so I really have forgotten.
